today was quite a tiring day.
woke up at 8 plus to the sounds of new year songs blaring on the tv.
they kept playing the same old songs.
it gets tiring after awhile.
ate a really unhealthy breakfast.

went to my auntie's hse first.
chatted for awhile and left to go my grandma's hse.
we ate steamboat again.
now im really so darn full.
we had steamboat ystd at my another auntie's hse.
plus the barbecue.
so it was kinda like eating the same food all over again.

there was this really nice mushroom.

CNY celebration today.

finished at about 10 plus.
did abit of mass dance and left for SN.
the dumb 55 took such a long time and made me almost late.
so i dropped halfway at serangoon to take a cab.
and thank God tht the driver was only going to ang mo kio.
couldnt take a cab frm vj cause the fare would just burn a hole in my pocket.
hahah.
there would be like jams along the way and the meter would just keep jumping like nobody's business.

i reached quite late and recess was about over.
some of the truthians waited for us.
was really touched by tht.
hugged each and everyone of them,
and chatted for awhile.
but they all had to rush back to class.

as i was thinking about my SN days,
im greatly reminded of my dear
truthians.
how blessed was i to go through an entire year with them.

a very mixed up class with only 2 other girls frm my former class.
its amazing tht we all bonded and came out as a
united class at the end of the year.
we had went through many things as a class.
the floorball matches,
indian dance,
and mini drama.
though there was friction along the way,
our friendships brought us all through.
we emerged as winners for some,
and placed in the top 3 for others.
even if it was a single person representing our class,
like tht in the case of wangling when she had to compete in the speech competition,
we all supported her and cheered her on.
its elating to see such spirit in our class.

and its smth i'll always remember our class for.
despite the facts tht we had cliques here and there,
we could all come together to hang out.
without feeling awkward and annoyed.
and its all cause tht we feel comfortable with each other.
i really miss all of tht.
we continued to go out during the hols.
having those nemy sessions.
going ice skating.
movies too.

those days will always be etched in my memory.
two truth also consists of a whole bunch of really
sweet ppl.
the farewell was really touching.
especially during the time when we sat down as a class to talk.
the sharing tht took place and our thoughts about the class.

we played some sand burying game,
tug of war in the water,

actually there was more but it started raining so we had to go back to sch.

cause it had been raining the whole of sunday and everywhere was quite muddy.
my whole feet and slippers were like muddy,

MASS DANCE AT SUNTEC YSTD.

vj's mass dance is really really different frm sn's family dance.
its pretty much alive.
rather than slow and traditional like sn's.
they have many segments like sn.
but all different kind of styles.
not those indian, malay, chinese kind like the famaily dance.
so i guess when ppl dance, its more fun to do those steps and dance.
its like when you see the seniors dance, you can kinda feel the spirit.
but you knw.
everytime the family dance music came on,
the whole track would be filled with groans and moans.
and some wont even bother to dance.
just stand there and stone.

thank God i left before sec3 or i would hafta dance family dance on the specs stand.

back to ystd.
finished our orientation and went to wash up.
met up with OG again and caught a bus to kallang.
took a train to city hall and WALKED.
i was so darn HUNGRY.
ate food court.
pretty much rushed through cause we were gonna be late.
but yeah.
they delayed the time.
so mass dance started at 8.45pm.

went up to the fountain and it was raining.
so piled our bags and protected them with UMBRELLAS.

so thn everyone formed a huge huge circle ard the fountain.
there were so many ppl till the circle has like three layers.
