how i love narnia.
after having read the entire chronicles of narnia,
i cant seem to get the story out of my head.
went to watch narnia with krislyn ystd.
BRILLIANT.
though they changed some parts, it was still pretty alright.
PETER WAS CUTE.
LUCY WAS CUTE.
EDMUND WAS CUTE BUT HE HAD LOTS OF FRECKLES.
well all of them had. but he had the most.
hahaha.
but hes still cute.

susan was just -
normal.
not at all what i expected cause the book described her to be a beauty.
that when she was reigning as queen, some prince from calormen kinda went to 'battle' cause he wanted her as a wife.

and if you knw your bible, you'll be able to connect some parts and make some sense.

lingjing that woman had such a huge reaction.

wandered around orchard and went shopping.
though we didnt buy anthing.

got approached by a couple of ppl on the road.
a couple of times.
but i shant talk about it.
went starbucks for coffee.
and trudged home.

didnt really attend the entire thing but i just went to return the leotard and skirt.
and SPY on sandra lee.

so after ballet at fort canning, i rushed down to waterloo street.
and darn old sandra lee messaged me
" jayne. got your result alr. you just pass. "
i almost fainted.
i kept thinking back to the exam day.
like did i do anything wrongly.
or did i piss the examiner off majorly.
but i couldnt think of anything !
and the same sentence kept going through my head.
what kind of screwed exam was tht !
AHH !
thn finally it didnt bother me anymore when i reached the train station.
reached waterloo street.
and ran there.
all because sandra lee !
HUMPH.
after awhile there, sandra went
" you got pass for your exam eh. "
and since i alr got over it.
i went
" ya. you told me what. "
thn she said
" youre the only one in the class who got pass leh. "
i said
" okay. "
AND THN !
SHE PUSHED ME AND WENT
" BLUFF YOU ONE LA ! YOU GOT DISTINCTION LA ! HOW CAN YOU GET PASS ! "

what a nice joke to play on me la.

watched nutcracker at night and thats about it.

had horizon exam ystd.
went earlier abit in the morning.
but realised that everyone went early.
so i was kinda the latest.

and what a comical sight it was.
they were all standing there and tying their buns on the pavement beside the street cause apparently the gate was still locked.
well.
the girls were tying their buns.
not the guys.
DUH.
and sandra lee practically bit my head off for not wanting to tie my bun on the road.
gee.
so yep.
finally we got into the waiting room.
and boy.
was it a small dance studio.
and there was a CAMERA in the room.
those security cameras?
what the hell.

we waited and waited for our turn.
it was annoying cause i was the the last group.
seeing everyone practising so hard while i was sitting on the floor and slacking made me feel bad.
like i wasnt working hard for the exam at all.
but yeah.
like half and hour before my turn, i started practising centre work.
barre work was still fine for me.
asked yijia if i should change into my leotard and tights cause i was still feeling kinda lazy.

that darn old darren just had to mimick me.
and song en went dont change in front of us or smth like that.
CRAP THEM.
like i would.
free show eh.
i went HELP ME LORD.
and went into the exam room feeling all cold and clammy.
everyone greeted the teacher loud and clear.
unlike the rehearsal when everyone barely muttered a word.

smiled all the way through the whole exam feeling like an idiot.
i was so nervous during the first exercise that my smile started quivering.
gosh.
and i was so busy concentrating on presentation that i cant remember even vaguely whether i had done all the right things.
and almost till the end.
while doing the second last exercise,
i missed my landing from the jumps and nearly broke my ankle.
thank God i stabled myself before anything happened.

not attending the graduation on saturday.
but perhaps dropping by in the day to visit.
and to spy on a certain sandra lee while shes doing her partnerwork.
heh.

almost after a week since i returned.
lazy me has decided to blog about my taiwan trip.

TAIWAN WAS GREAT !

i didnt want to come back.
bugged my mum to extend a day but she REFUSED.
humph.
anyway.
throughout the whole trip, my mum was SUPER.
note the super huh.
kan cheong.
we toured around.
like usual.
not much scenic places though.
only a couple worth returning to.
our first 'hotel' was brilliant.
: D
it wasnt exactly a hotel but a house.
cause its like a farm.
and they have these two villages for ppl to stay in.
and each hse its kinda like a semi detached thing.
so parents got this half and me and my sister got the other half.
and boy was it huge.
they had like THREE beds inside.
one queen or king size one and two single.
there were two toilets in the room.
and plenty of space for me to jump around.
((:
gah.
they provided uncle slippers for us to wear too.
and a separate one for us to wear in the bath.
and all thanks to my darn sister.
i wore the bath one while bathing and came out w bumps on my foot.
guess it was some kind of reflexology slippers.
IT HURT !
badly.
and so then.
we went around the farm in the morning while it was raining.
the stuff there werent exactly interesting cause we've been to australian farms.
so we made use of the time to take turns and learn how to drive !

my dad taught me and my sister to drive the buggy.
it not a real car but it was at least smth la.

we really had nothing better to do.
we drove the buggy back to the main area.
and back out to the farm area.
thn back to the main area again.
hahaha.

taroko gorge was amusing.
the roads were so narrow that the bus driver had a hard time driving..
and there were this little caves for them to pass through.
and rocks could just come tumbling down and result in a rock fall.
rock slide?
is there such a term?
hahah.
nvm.
then there was seven stars lake.
really breath taking.

went for hot spring at night.
we went for the luke warm water as the other pools werent available.
the massage thing was strong like crap !
i got pushed away by it MANY TIMES.
this particular boat ride at kaoxiong sucked !
oh man.
i'll never forget it.
i was so restless during the whole thing.
the scenary wasnt great.
the guide was droning.
the flies were buzzing.
could not wait to step on land.
yep.
we had another nice hotel.
it was boutique styled.
and we had a PLASMA TV in our room !
and the other rooms didnt have it.
hahaha.
and it wasnt the first night tht we stayed up like to watch the MANY MANY channels.
like 100 over.
they had many movie channels and gossip news tv.
hahah.
perfect.

when we returned to taipei.
it was SHOPPING HEAVEN.
the shopping centres was humongous.
and as if all those night markets in the other places every night werent enough.
we went to more !
HOORAY.
hahah.
now you knw why i like taiwan so much.

we went to wholesalers that sold clothes.
more night markets.
shopping centres.
and ximenting.

our last hotel was just -
beyond words.
the tv was huge.
bigger than the other rooms.
i think the hotel ppl likes us.

cause we always get the nice tv.

the toilet was huge too.
mm.
and now some random stuff.
taiwanese fishballs and meatballs are huge and bouncy.
dont think dirty alright.
its the truth.
they're really big. huge -
ah nvm.

along the roads are these little stalls selling betel nuts.
tried one and spat it out almost immediately.
hahah.
but the girls selling them were HOT.
literally.
hoho.
they wore bikinis to sell them even in winter.

and you knw how its always reported in the news about taiwan's chaotic political situation?
well.
its kinda true.
we even experienced a couple of demonstrations.
there was this partically huge one when like this person said smth,
all will raise their red flags and start waving it.
hahah.
comcial.
the food wasnt too bad either.
especially the food markets.
YUMM.
i think ive just gained a hundred pounds from eating every day.
every minute.
the prawns were small.
man.
they were only like the size of a twenty cent coin.
and not forgetting the 7-11s there.
hahah.
they sell many things that we dont have here.
one thing bad was that the plastic bags dont come for free.
you hafta pay !
so its too bad for you if you bought too many a thing and refuse to pay for a bag.
oh oh.
and.
whenever you buy stuff, they'll give you this disney collectible thing thats really amusing and cute.
we literally went shopping at 7-11 on the last day and got like 6 of them for free cause we spent ALOT.

so it was just the ride back on the plane.
watched wedding crashers when i returned.
school of seduction and america's sweethearts when i went.
the air stewardess was really comical.
cause on the last day, me and my sister dressed nicely.
i wore high boots like locals.
and a skirt.
while my sister wore some shirt she bought from taiwan.
and you knw her hair and everything.
so the air stewardess decided to say thank you to us in chinese instead of english !
i nearly laughed to my death.
